Overview

ORAU is conducting the search on behalf of Centrus Energy for a permanent, fulltime Sr. Project Controls Engineer in Piketon, OH.

As a Senior Project Controls Engineer at Centrus Energy, you'll be the engine behind project performance-driving cost, schedule, and risk visibility across mission-critical initiatives. You'll partner with project leaders to keep everything on track, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals, all while mentoring others and shaping best practices along the way.

Responsibilities

You'll lead the development and maintenance of project cost and schedule baselines, using tools like Primavera and Cobra to track performance and forecast outcomes. You'll drive project reporting by coordinating and leading status updates, analyzing earned value metrics, and identifying risks and opportunities early. In addition, you'll develop guidelines and desktop procedures, mentor team members on cost and schedule control practices, and support risk management efforts to ensure projects stay aligned with scope, budget, and timelines in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of science in engineering, construction management, accounting, finance, or business

8-12 years of direct project controls experienceExpertise with Primavera scheduling softwareExpertise with Cobra or similar cost processing toolsAdvanced knowledge of earned value managementAdvanced knowledge of cost engineering and cost control principlesAdvanced knowledge of risk management processes and associated toolsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to obtain and maintain a "Q" clearance.
