Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Paterson, New Jersey
Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions across our organization. This individual will play a critical role in shaping company culture, ensuring compliance, and driving initiatives that support both our employees and business objectives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, experienced in manufacturing environments, and fluent in Spanish to effectively communicate with a large portion of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business goals
- Oversee and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Manage employee relations issues with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to a manufacturing environment
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration
- Lead safety and workplace compliance initiatives in collaboration with operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment strongly preferred
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
