Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in Medical Dermatology to join a growing patient-centered dermatology practice in North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dermatologic evaluations, including full-body skin examinations and patient histories
Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions including:
Identify and treat precancerous and cancerous lesions including:
Perform dermatologic procedures such as:
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines and licensure
Educate patients on skin health, treatment plans, and preventive care
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Adhere to HIPAA, regulatory, and clinical standards
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications Required
Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current North Carolina NP or PA license
National certification:
AANP or ANCC for NPs
NCCPA for PAs
Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience, preferably in medical dermatology
Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
Preferred
Dermatology certification (DCNP or equivalent) or willingness to pursue certification
Experience with dermatologic procedures including biopsies and cryotherapy
Familiarity with dermatoscopy and EMR systems
