Overview
We are working on behalf of a leading maker of RF ICs and MMICs leveraging GaAs and GaN technologies for Defense and Wireless markets. They are looking for a Principal MMIC Design Engineer who will report to a group in Milpitas, CA, but can be based remotely anywhere in the USA.
Responsibilities
Perform MMIC design work, including power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA) and other microwave circuits.
Contribute to GaAs and GaN technology development for Defense and Wireless applications.
Apply circuit simulation (ADS or MW Office), EM simulation (HFSS) and testing skills as part of design verification.
Qualifications
BSEE; preferably an advanced degree.
8-15+ years of MMIC design experience, including PA, LNA and other circuits.
Experience designing in GaAs and GaN.
Strong proficiency with circuit simulation (ADS or MW Office), EM simulation (HFSS) and testing skills.
