We are seeking independent, licensed Registered Dietitians to provide compassionate, patient-centered Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) via a state-of-the-art telehealth platform. This is a remote 1099 contractor role offering flexible scheduling, paid training, and the opportunity to work part-time or near full-time hours.
Dietitians will primarily support members focused on weight management, while also addressing related health concerns such as diabetes and metabolic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct 30 or 60-minute 1:1 telehealth nutrition visits
Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling using ADIME/SOAP documentation
Review patient intake information and medical history prior to visits
Focus on weight management while supporting additional health concerns as needed
Educate and motivate members using standardized nutrition guidance and protocols
Create post-visit summaries including goals, resources, and next steps
Schedule follow-up appointments at the conclusion of each visit
Complete accurate charting and billing documentation
Communicate and collaborate with the care team via Slack
Attend required trainings and monthly meetings
Minimum availability: 16 hours per week
Maximum: Up to 40 hours per week

Members book appointments 48 hours in advance
Appointments are booked on the hour (no 30-minute increments)
Back-to-back visits allowed (maximum of 3 consecutively)
Pay Rate: Base Rate ($34-$40), dependent on location, number of state licenses, and experience
Pay Incentive:
If you work 20+ hours for 3 consecutive weeks, earn a $4 pay bump
As far as logistics/compensation for the position, your base rate would apply in these scenarios:
Member visits (reimbursed in 60 minutes or 30 minutes depending on the length of visit)
No show visits/cancelled visits (24 hours or less before) (reimbursed at half of the visit time, example: 60 minute no show visit paid as 30 minutes)
Administrative tasks in the system (5 minutes per task completed)
Internal meetings - after training (paid at length of meeting time)
1-3 hours of "admin time" paid each week you have at least 1 completed visit. (1 hour for 1-10 visits, 2 hours for 11-20 visits, and 3 hours for 21+ visits)
Training pay (14 hours total for completion of onboarding materials and attending an orientation session, paid as a lump sum once orientation is complete)
If you complete all training items in one week you receive a $50 bonus

Training includes full immersion in the nutrition program and clinical workflows
Training may begin while insurance credentialing is in progress
Credentialing & Start Timeline
Insurance credentialing typically takes 6–8 weeks (some clear sooner)
Start timelines depend on application completeness and payer processingClear documentation and timely submissions help accelerate clearance
Limited work may be available prior to full credentialing approval, can only see self-pay 30 minute visits
Required Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Active NPI number (or willingness to obtain after offer)
Comfort providing care in a fully remote environment
