We are looking for a competitive, sales‑driven, and highly‑motivated field sales representative to join our team. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing your own initiatives and aggressive sales strategies to grow your sales territory. The ideal candidate knows how to get the sale, leaning into their strong communication and interpersonal skills to convert potential customers into new clients.
Responsibilities
Follow up with potential customers to showcase and highlight our new products or services
Create and fulfill a customer acquisition strategy for your sales territory
Inform company of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, potential customers, and issues with competition via CRM
Maintain up‑to‑date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met
Attend in‑person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events
Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals
Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs
Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance‑related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and to keep customers satisfied
Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs
Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking

Qualifications
3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience
CRM experience preferred
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma preferred; high school diploma necessary
Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial
Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license
Fundamental computer skills, such as experience with Microsoft Office
Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders
Need to be a hard worker, determined, and self‑motivated
Must live in and be authorized to work in the US
Ability to work independently, although team support is provided
Be interested in managing a home‑based operation
Compensation
$75,000+ per year
