This role is designed for a consultant who has already worked in client-facing advisory environments and is comfortable leading discovery, shaping recommendations, and supporting execution across multiple engagements.RoleThis is not an internal business analyst role. It is a hands-on consulting position that requires prior experience advising clients, navigating ambiguity, and translating business needs into practical technology and operating-model recommendations. A typical day as a Technology Advisory Consultant may include the following:Client Advisory & Engagement DeliveryLead and support client engagements focused on business transformation, process improvement, and enterprise technology advisoryFacilitate discovery sessions with client stakeholders to understand current-state operations, pain points, and strategic goalsTranslate business requirements into clear, actionable recommendations that balance people, process, and technologyDevelop client-ready deliverables including assessments, roadmaps, business cases, and executive presentationsManage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining high quality and responsivenessTechnology & Transformation AdvisoryAdvise clients on ERP, CRM, and related enterprise systems from a business and implementation-oversight perspectiveSupport clients through technology evaluation and selection, helping them assess fit, value, and riskAct as a trusted advisor during implementations by identifying risks, asking the right questions, and holding vendors accountablePartner with system integrators and internal teams to ensure solutions align with business objectivesRelationship Management & Firm ContributionBuild strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at multiple levelsCommunicate confidently and professionally in ambiguous, fast-moving client environmentsContribute to business development efforts, including discovery calls, proposal development, and solution shapingCollaborate closely with internal team members across disciplines and geographiesWho You AreRequired Experience5-8 years of relevant professional experience, including:At least 2+ years in a consulting or client-facing advisory roleDemonstrated experience advising clients on business process, transformation initiatives, or enterprise technologyExperience working across multiple clients, projects, or industriesComfort operating in environments with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and multiple stakeholdersTechnology & Business AcumenWorking knowledge of ERP and CRM ecosystems (for example: NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct, Salesforce)Ability to discuss technology from a business value and implementation-risk perspectiveStrong understanding of how systems, processes, and organizational change intersectConsulting Skills & BehaviorsConfident client-facing presence with strong communication and facilitation skillsAbility to lead discussions, synthesize information, and drive toward outcomesProven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlinesCollaborative mindset and comfort working as part of a consulting teamYou are willing to go where our clients are, with up to 40 percent of your time being travelMust be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.Benefits And CompensationOur compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
