The Logistics Manager oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control, and work order fulfillment operations. This role leads warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory, timely order completion, and on-time customer deliveries while driving operational efficiency and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory teams.
- Manage daily logistics operations, including order fulfillment, kitting, shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
- Coordinate with Planning and Production to ensure materials and work orders are completed on schedule.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, variance reconciliation, and material traceability.
- Monitor key performance metrics including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or materials management experience.
- Prior leadership experience as a Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.
- Experience working in an MRP/ERP-driven manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
