Pricing Specialist
The Pricing Specialist will work closely with other Pricing & Product Group members, operation departments, vendors, and branches with a focus on supporting cost and pricing changes and troubleshooting issues arising from them.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate data reports to assist in cost and price updates.
- Maintain cost files and vendor contacts.
- Research and track down costs from vendors.
- Field questions from branches to help with cost, pricing, and margin issues.
- Assist with product data maintenance and organization.
- Produce Ad hoc pricing and product reports as needed.
- Other duties as directed by the Pricing & Product Manager.
Required skills and experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel features and advanced formulas.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Knowledge of exterior building products.
- Familiarity with SX.e, SAP/Vistex, or similar ERP
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective branch and vendor relationships.
- Ability to multitask/prioritize and work quickly and efficiently.
