HRIS Analyst (PeopleSoft)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support and enhance our Human Resources Information Systems environment, with a strong focus on PeopleSoft, employee lifecycle transactions, payroll changes, and HR data management. This role will serve as a key liaison between HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to ensure accurate employee data, efficient system processes, and successful execution of HR and payroll-related changes.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on PeopleSoft experience, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of HR and payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the organization's PeopleSoft HRIS platform
- Process and manage employee lifecycle transactions including:
- New hires
- Transfers
- Promotions
- Compensation changes
- Terminations
- Organizational changes
- Coordinate and validate payroll-related changes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Perform HRIS data audits, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
- Analyze HR and payroll processes and recommend system improvements and efficiencies.
- Create and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Troubleshoot system issues and partner with IT and vendors for resolution.
- Support HR and Payroll teams during system updates, testing, and enhancement projects.
- Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with system integrations, data conversions, and special HR projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of HRIS experience supporting HR and Payroll functions.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM
- Strong understanding of employee data management, payroll processing, and HR operations.
- Experience handling employee status changes, compensation updates, and organizational structure changes.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting payroll systems and payroll integrations.
- Knowledge of HR compliance and data governance best practices.
- Experience with HR reporting tools and workforce analytics.
- Prior experience in a contract-to-hire or fast-paced corporate environment.
