CNC Machinist Programmer
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join a solid manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the full machining process—from programming and setup to production and inspection—ensuring high-quality parts are delivered on time. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in CNC machining, capable of working independently from prints, and experienced with both mills and lathes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC Lathes using G-code (on-machine and offline)
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings to plan jobs from start to finish
- Perform full machine setup, including tooling, work holding, and program validation
- Operate CNC equipment, including adjusting offsets, changing tools, and monitoring production
- Conduct first article inspections and support FPQP and PPAP Level 3 processes (with assistance)
- Develop and maintain inspection sheets and measurement methods
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.)
- Train machine operators on setup and operation best practices
- Perform manual machining operations (mills, lathes, band saws) as needed
- Deburr parts using various tools and techniques
- Maintain equipment, including basic machine upkeep and cleanliness
- Support production goals related to quality, delivery schedules, and efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers when needed
Skills & Experience:
- Education: HS Diploma required; Journeyman Certification in precision machining preferred
- Experience: 7+ years of machining experience required; 3+ years of hands-on G-Code programming experience required
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC Lathe operations
- Software: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software required

$26.00 – $32.00/hour
Type: Full-Time, 1st Shift, On-Site
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
