Account Manager Compensation: $70k to $100k, DOE Location: Humble, TX 77396 Schedule: 8am to 5pm, M-F Travel: 25% Overview Lead and grow company's strategic customer portfolio in North America, driving sustainable sales growth, margin performance, and long-term profitability, while acting as the primary commercial interface between customers and global operations. Key Responsibilities Account & Commercial Strategy
- Own and execute the commercial strategy, sales budget, and pricing for assigned key accounts.
- Manage and expand relationships with OEMs, distributors, and fabricators across strategic market segments.
- Lead negotiations, quotations, contracts, and commercial agreements.
Business Development
- Drive growth opportunities in Electrification, Power Distribution, Data Centers, EV, and Grid Infrastructure.
- Identify new business opportunities and support new product introductions.
- Develop account plans aligned with long-term growth and profitability objectives.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate closely with Houston and Peru (Home Office) operations to ensure reliable execution, quality, and delivery.
- Align customer forecasts and commercial commitments with production and supply chain capacity.
- Act as the primary escalation point for strategic customers.
Forecasting & Performance
- Develop sales forecasts and revenue projections.
- Monitor account performance, margins, and customer satisfaction.
- Build senior-level relationships and represent Company at a strategic level.
Required Profile Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- MBA or commercial specialization is a plus.
Experience
- 5-7+ years of experience managing key industrial B2B accounts.
- Proven track record working with OEMs or strategic customers in North America.
- Experience in manufacturing, metals, or electrical components strongly preferred.
- Cross-border or international exposure is a plus.
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Strong negotiation, pricing, and commercial strategy skills.
- ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- Ability to manage complex, long-term customer relationships.
