The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is currently supporting a client in the Material Science industry and is having the Quality Control Technician in Cottage Grove, MN

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and report analytical testing results for quality control purposes on manufactured products and raw materials.
Conduct testing on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Calibrate and maintain analytical instrumentation to ensure reliable performance.
Support the evaluation and implementation of new analytical methods developed by R&D teams.
Conduct measurement system analyses and other quality assurance activities.
Independently prioritize incoming samples and laboratory workload to meet operational requirements.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, chemists, and laboratory personnel to communicate testing status, results, and any challenges encountered.
Perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation and escalate issues when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience using laboratory data management, reporting, or analysis systems.
Experience with: Titrations, Gas Chromatography (GC), Liquid Chromatography (LC/HPLC)
Associated sample preparation techniques
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Additional Details:

Pay range: $18 - $21/hour on W2 as per your experience

Contract Length: 3 Months with the possibility of extension

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
