Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.34 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points and verify credentials, permissions, and/or visitor activity in accordance with post orders and government location protocols.Support emergency preparedness efforts by assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and coordination with law enforcement and/or first responders when directed.
