Mechanical Assembler II Vista, CA Pay: $20.00 - $29.56 per hour 26-03516 Job Summary The Mechanical Assembler II is responsible for assembling products and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, interpreting diagrams and drawings, and performing both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks. This role requires moderate supervision and the ability to make minor adjustments to work methods to resolve routine issues while ensuring quality standards are met. Job Responsibilities
- Perform assembly operations on products and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Execute both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks
- Monitor and adjust work methods to resolve routine issues or deviations from standard practice
- Ensure completed assemblies meet quality and specification requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates or clarify instructions
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
- Attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset
- Ability to work independently under moderate supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Experience
- Prior experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments preferred
