Assistant Cook will promote and maintain the philosophy of assisted living through the following:
- Assisting the Meal Coordinator with the planning, preparing, and serving quality meals
- Completing the PM food preparation, serving, storing and other kitchen functions for the Home
- Ensure the proper handling and utilization of all foods to prevent contamination.
To become an Assistant Cook, you will need to:
- Possess a genuine fondness for older adults.
- Have experience in preparation of food for groups with special dietary requirements.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, stand for up to 4 hours, bend, reach and stoop.
