Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a hospital in Kansas City, MO. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. This role supports a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center and offers varied caseload exposure including bedside swallow evaluations and opportunities for video swallow studies. Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA required.
- Active Missouri state license required to start assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Experience performing bedside swallow evaluations required. Videofluoroscopic swallow study experience preferred.
- Familiarity with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation preferred.
- Willingness to float between acute care and rehab units.
- Adherence to facility dress code: gray scrubs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke program.
- Previous inpatient rehab (IRF) caseload management experience.
- Experience with diverse patient populations.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating weekends preferred but flexible.
- No on-call requirements.
- Floating required to cover both acute care and inpatient rehab.
