About the Role: We're seeking a skilled Collision Estimator to join a high-performing, customer-focused collision repair team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong estimating, communication, and customer service skills who can accurately assess vehicle damage, write estimates, and coordinate repairs from drop-off to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and review vehicle damage in person or via photos.
- Create accurate and thorough estimates using CCC ONE (or other estimating software).
- Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, customers, and internal repair teams.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, repair order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Track vehicle repair progress, keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.
- Collaborate with technicians and parts departments to ensure timely and accurate repair completion.
- Review supplements and update repair plans as additional damage is discovered.
- Ensure compliance with OEM repair procedures and I-CAR Gold Class standards.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Collision Estimator or in a related role (e.g., Service Advisor, Adjuster).
- Proficiency in CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex estimating systems.
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes and insurance DRP guidelines.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus (preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a DRP (Direct Repair Program) environment.
- Familiarity with OEM-certified repair programs (Tesla, Honda ProFirst, Ford, BMW, etc.).
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced shop setting.
