We are hiring for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to provide support to the sales and production teams at our client's factory in Sacramento. The Project Scheduler will work closely with a quality focused team, develop skills in the construction trade industry and play a key role in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a similar role working in logistics, project management, schedule coordination or a similar role.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate and schedule installations by working directly with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and sales consultants
- Monitor project schedules and address delays or scheduling conflicts as needed.
- Prepare daily reports by verifying orders, requesting materials, and creating purchase orders and waivers
- Schedule and coordinate inspections
- Document scheduling activities, project status updates, and completion records.
- Ensure project files are organized and maintained in accordance with program requirements.
- Support production planning and workload forecasting.
- Collaborate with management to project monthly production goals.
- Monitor project production goals and update production schedules and tracking systems.
- Maintain and regularly update project, production, and operational tracking spreadsheets.
- Resolve issues at all levels and anticipate customer needs
- Assist the Project Manager with needs as they arise
What We're Looking For:
- Successful prior experience in logistics, project management, or similar role
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines on multiple projects
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); project management software experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay range: $26 - $28 per hour.
