The Laundry Attendant is primarily responsible for performing tasks such as washing, drying, and folding linens according to company quality standards. An attendant is often responsible for sorting items by color, weight and fabric types and making sure items are washed in the proper machine cycle by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: • Perform additional laundry services when necessary. • Perform regular cleaning and basic upkeep of laundry equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly. • Being willing to help in other areas of the hotel if needed. • Sort and fold clean dried items. • Dry, sort, and neatly fold clean items to meet presentation standards. Qualifications: • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds as needed. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • No prior experience is required; all levels of applicants are welcome. • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Compensation: $14+ hourly depending on experience
