Program Assistant
The Program Assistant provides administrative and operational support to program staff, helping ensure smooth service delivery and efficient office management. The position reports to the Program Director.
Compensation Range: $21/hr - $24/hr commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling and communications
- Maintain program records and files
- Assist with data entry and reporting
- Support event planning and logistics
- Provide general office support
- Coordinate reconciliation for program incentives
- Process program invoices and support monitoring of program spending
Other functions that may be required with this position include:
- Participate in team meetings
- Assist with outreach and client engagement
- Other duties that support programmatic goals as needed
- Assist with data entry
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Embraces a harm reduction approach to working with underserved populations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently, manage a team, and collaborate across departments, required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality
- Sensitivity to needs of culturally and linguistically diverse patient and employee population
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed the Service Excellence Standards of Housing Works
- Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends, as needed
