Beechwood Sales and Service is hiring a full time, onsite Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will assist in the promotion and awareness of our portfolio of products. They will create point-of-sale items and other creative marketing products for the Beechwood sales team. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maximize customer satisfaction & working relationships with the Beechwood Sales & Service Team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure the Beechwood Sales & Service Graphic Design program adheres to customer service standards
Work within existing branded templates and adhere to supplier brand standards to produce new posters, banners, menus, and various other promotional items while maintaining strict visual brand identity
Develop and execute new creative signs, table tents, menus, portfolios and other promotional materials when needed
Assist in development of internal and external presentation materials
Ensures operation of equipment by performing routine maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment
Trimming, folding, laminating, and cutting various printed promotional items
Ensure all deadlines are met, soliciting input and direction at appropriate stages
Potential for digital marketing support (formatting social posts, website updates)
Other responsibilities as assigned
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferred
Strong and dynamic portfolio
Excellent understanding of design, composition, typography, color and graphic design principles
Ability to communicate effectively and constructively brainstorm well with others (designers, sales reps, managers, vendors, suppliers)
Ability to give and take constructive criticism/feedback
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to prioritize a large number of projects simultaneously
Proven ability to proofread, attention to detail, and edit copy (exceptional spelling and grammar)
Demonstrated expertise in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) in PC environment
Demonstrated flexibility to create design elements consistent with client direction, aesthetic requirements and processes
Strong personal initiative and ability to work to tight schedules. Deadline-Oriented
Ability to work independently
