Surveyor
A Surveyor is a detailed individual that will provide layout and surveying services for all supported business units. The Surveyor will work closely with various members of the project teams.
Essential Functions:

• Oversee the layout of Walker's scope on all assigned jobsites.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and Project Management to define scope of layout.
• Maintain project schedule to meet layout deadlines provided by the field, and track overall job progress.
• Create projections of layout labor and manpower costs on projects.
• Scan installed scope for record drawings, and maintain documentation to track job progress.
• Register point clouds from scans for use in record models.
• Complete both field and office operations in the collections, computation and examination of data
Competencies:
- Communication.
- Critical Evaluation.
- Relationship Management.
- Working knowledge of CAD system
Required Education and Experience:
• 3+ years' experience in commercial construction layout and surveying.
• Experience with RTS and GPS layout equipment.
• Experience with Laser Scanners.
• Familiarity with Trimble RealWorks and Point Cloud creation.
Education and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to nine months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educations and experience.
