Position Summary
iWebGrocer International is a leading exporter and distributor of U.S. grocery, foodservice, health & beauty, and consumer products to customers worldwide. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources operations and support our continued growth.
The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring compliance with employment laws, administering employee benefits, and fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
In- person position Hialeah, FL * Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00 PMKey Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees.
- Develop job descriptions and hiring plans for various departments including Sales, Operations, and Logistics.
- Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and workforce planning initiatives.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters.
- Support managers in handling performance issues, coaching, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and implement employee performance evaluation programs.
- Promote employee engagement, morale, and retention initiatives.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Manage personnel records and HR documentation.
- Monitor workplace safety programs and compliance requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Administer employee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs.
- Coordinate health insurance, retirement plans, leave administration, and other employee benefits.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Develop onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Payroll & HR Administration
- Coordinate payroll processing with finance and external providers.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics for management review.
Organizational Development
- Support company growth initiatives and organizational planning.
- Assist management in developing company culture, employee recognition programs, and retention strategies.
- Participate in strategic planning and workforce development efforts.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including supervisory responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-department operations in a fast-paced environment.
