Job Summary - Architectural Metal Designer
The Fathom Commitment
We're here to build things that last—well-designed, well-made, and tailored to the project. Our work is rooted in craft, clarity, and care at every step. From first sketches to final installation, we're focused on getting the details right. It's not about perfection for perfection's sake. It's about making something that feels solid, thoughtful, and built to stand the test of time.
You'll translate client bid sets, architect drawings, and loose project concepts into fully detailed, shop-ready SolidWorks models and drawings. A large portion of your work centers on our Fathom fenestration line — custom steel and glass door and window systems — where you'll refine and optimize standard designs for performance, cost, and fabricability while also developing fully custom assemblies from scratch for one-off architectural projects.
You'll work directly with the owner, project manager, purchasing, and shop floor leadership in a tight, collaborative environment where your decisions have real impact on every job that ships.
