Job Title: Senior Network Architect

Salary: $175,000 – $210,000
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure across multiple office and data center locations. This role will be responsible for network architecture, security, wireless, VoIP, WAN, and data center technologies while providing technical leadership and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, VPN, firewall, and security infrastructure.
- Lead network architecture, capacity planning, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Design and support data center, MDF, IDF, and office network environments.
- Manage routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS, and VxLAN.
- Support and optimize Cisco Nexus and Catalyst environments, F5 load balancers, Infoblox DNS/DHCP, and Cisco ACI.
- Collaborate with business and IT leadership to assess current and future network requirements.
- Develop network standards, policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Provide senior-level troubleshooting and escalation support for complex network issues.
- Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- Strong expertise with Cisco networking technologies including Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
- Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network security.
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers, Infoblox, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, NetFlow, and syslog.
- Experience designing and supporting multi-site enterprise and data center environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SilverPeak, Riverbed, Check Point, Cisco ISE, Gigamon, and DWDM technologies.
- CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCSP, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience supporting large multi-office professional services, legal, financial, or enterprise organizations.
