I. Position Summary
The AI Policy Network (AIPN) is hiring a Recruiter to help us scale. We are growing quickly, and this role owns the front of our hiring funnel: sourcing candidates, running first-round phone screens, and keeping every search moving. It is a strong fit for an early-career professional who is organized, personable, and excited to build the team working on one of the most consequential issues of our time. You will work directly with hiring managers and senior leadership across the organization.
II. Responsibilities
Run first-round phone screens across all open roles, assessing fit and flagging strong candidates for hiring managers.
Source and engage candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach.
Manage candidate pipelines and keep our applicant tracking organized, accurate, and up to date.
Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, hiring managers, and senior staff.
Draft and post job descriptions; keep the careers page and external listings current.
Keep candidates informed at every stage and represent AIPN as a welcoming, professional first point of contact.
Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source quality) and report on them regularly.
III. Qualifications
1–3 years of recruiting, sourcing, or relevant coordination experience; in-house, agency, or campaign settings all welcome.
Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment in evaluating candidates over virtual interviews.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple searches at once without dropping details.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication; proficiency with Google Workspace.
Interest in AI, technology policy, or national-security issues.
Self-directed initiator with an upbeat, whatever-it-takes attitude.
IV. About AIPN
