Role Overview
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the brand's social media channels, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok. This individual will help curate and create content, establish and maintain social media workflows, schedule and publish posts in accordance with social calendar and campaign deadlines, and ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Ideal candidates have a strong visual eye, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of current social media trends, particularly within the fashion and luxury space.
Core Responsibilities
- Curate, create, and publish content across Instagram and TikTok.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a consistent social media calendar.
- Schedule and manage posts to ensure timely and strategic content distribution.
- Create engaging photo, video, and short-form content aligned with the brand's aesthetic and voice.
- Monitor content performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Help establish efficient social media workflows and content management processes.
- Maintain consistency in messaging, visual presentation, and brand identity across platforms.
- Stay informed on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, campaigns, events, and other brand initiatives.
- Support the overall growth and visibility of the brand's digital presence.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience managing social media accounts, preferably within fashion, luxury, beauty, editorial, lifestyle, or a related client-focused industry.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok platforms and content best practices.
- Experience with content scheduling and social media management tools.
- Excellent written communication and visual storytelling skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in creating and editing short-form video content.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Expertise or strong proficiency with digital tools (ex: Notion or similar, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.) and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Passion for luxury fashion and contemporary culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Agile pivoting for tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative setting.
Compensation
$22-25 hourly compensation, based on experience; 20-25 hours weekly.
Location
- Monday-Friday, hybrid in New York, NY, 10016.
