Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Three-Dimensional Data Scientist to support the development and validation of advanced digital measurement technologies within a leading healthcare technology organization. This role combines expertise in machine learning, three-dimensional imaging, computer vision, and scientific validation to build innovative digital endpoints and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to the advancement of data-driven measurement capabilities used in clinical and commercial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the validation of advanced three-dimensional capture systems and establish performance benchmarks for accuracy, consistency, and clinical relevance.
• Design and execute validation workflows utilizing photogrammetry-generated three-dimensional imagery and mesh-based datasets.
• Develop statistical frameworks and testing methodologies to assess capture fidelity, landmark reproducibility, and geometric precision.
• Document technical findings and communicate results to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Design, prototype, and scale novel three-dimensional digital endpoints and computational biomarkers.
• Transform three-dimensional capture outputs into clinically meaningful analytical measurements and outcome indicators.
• Develop and optimize machine learning models for three-dimensional meshes, point clouds, depth maps, and related datasets.
• Evaluate model performance, robustness, and generalizability across diverse populations and capture environments.
• Establish best practices for three-dimensional data preprocessing, quality control, feature engineering, and surface reconstruction.
• Collaborate with engineering, clinical, product, and scientific teams to support research and development initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in computer vision, neural rendering, machine learning, and digital biomarker technologies.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Vision, Computational Biology, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum three years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with data science libraries.
• Experience working with three-dimensional data including meshes, point clouds, depth maps, or photogrammetry outputs.
• Hands-on experience with professional three-dimensional rendering or modeling platforms.
• Experience designing and executing validation studies using statistical methodologies.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and model development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree or Doctorate in a related technical discipline.
• Experience within aesthetics, dermatology, medical imaging, healthcare technology, or digital health environments.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry workflows and three-dimensional reconstruction techniques.
• Experience with geometric deep learning methodologies.
• Exposure to digital endpoint development, biomarkers, or regulated research environments.
• Familiarity with facial landmarking, shape analysis, and surface modeling techniques.
• Experience supporting cross-functional research and development programs.
• Knowledge of version control systems, machine learning operations practices, and reproducible research methodologies.

Pay Range: $70/hr to $75/hr
