Role: Chief Architect Location: Parsippany, NJ Key Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership: • Design and build high-performance applications that set new standards using the MERN stack. • Establish and uphold best practices for code quality, performance, and maintainability. • Ensure flawless integration of front-end and back-end components for optimal data flow. DevOps Strategy & Implementation: • Craft and execute a forward-thinking DevOps strategy, spotlighting CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing. • Fine-tune our cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for peak performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. • Champion the use of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Team Leadership & Collaboration: • Inspire and mentor engineering teams in top-notch development and operational practices. • Partner with product management, engineering, and operations teams to align technology with business objectives. • Lead engaging code reviews, architectural debates, and pivotal technical decision- making processes. Security & Compliance: • Embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle. • Work closely with compliance teams to meet industry standards and regulatory benchmarks. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest industry trends and technologies, implementing innovative solutions. • Continuously refine development and operational processes for heightened efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 10+ years of software architecture experience, with a deep expertise in the MERN stack. • 7+ years in DevOps, including experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerization. • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services. • Proven skills in designing and managing scalable, distributed systems and microservices. • Solid understanding of security practices and compliance standards. • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a knack for mentoring and guiding cross- functional teams. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic technical decision-making abilities. • Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Skills: • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Experience with serverless architecture and edge computing. • Familiarity with additional programming languages (Python, Go, etc.). • Expertise in data-driven architecture and analytics platforms.
