This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with all applicable codes and company standards. Fire alarm system experience is strongly preferred. This position requires frequent travel and the ability to lead teams across multiple project locations.How you will do itSupervise and coordinate all onsite low voltage activities, including fire alarm, security, access control, and related systemsLead field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure proper installation and project executionReview project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance and identify potential issuesEnsure all work meets NEC, NFPA (especially NFPA 72), local codes, and client specificationsMaintain strict adherence to safety standards and enforce company safety policies on all job sitesCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and clientsConduct site walkthroughs, inspections, and quality control checksResolve field-related issues, conflicts, and scheduling challenges proactivelyTrack labor productivity, materials, and progress against project timelinesProvide daily/weekly reporting on project status, manpower, and milestonesAssist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting systems, particularly fire alarm systemsSupport project closeouts, including documentation, punch lists, and inspectionsWhat we look forMinimum 5+ years of experience in low voltage construction or electrical systemsProven experience supervising field operations or crews on commercial construction sitesFire alarm installation and commissioning experience strongly preferredTechnical Knowledge:Strong understanding of fire alarm systems (NFPA 72), electrical codes (NEC), and low voltage systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsFamiliarity with testing, inspection, and commissioning processesCertifications (Preferred):NICET certification (Fire Alarm Systems)OSHA 30Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, etc.)Skills and competenciesStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and coordination abilitiesProblem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environmentsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityProficient in basic computer skills (MS Office, project reporting tools)TravelExtensive travel required (up to 75–100%) within the United StatesAbility to work at remote project sites for extended periods as neededHIRING SALARY RANGE: $73,000-101,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
