Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager at Ruby's Shake Shop, located in Reno, NV. The General Manager will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, manage and lead staff, maintain service excellence, and ensure quality food preparation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, inventory management, financial oversight, and adherence to company policies and standards. The role requires fostering a positive work culture and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly while maintaining high customer service standards.
What You'll Do:· Lead and motivate a high-energy team in a fast casual environment· Ensure top-tier guest experiences every shift· Manage day-to-day operations, including inventory, scheduling, and team development· Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards· Work closely with upper management to build sales, meet sales requirements, and maintain KPIs at expectation.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills, with 4+ years of experience in supervising and mentoring staff
- Competence in restaurant operations, including inventory management, financial planning, and maintaining operational standards
- Customer service and interpersonal skills to ensure a welcoming and satisfying dining experience
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying situations while maintaining calm and leading the team through positivity & motivation
- Serve Safe Certification is a plus
