REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience working with mechanical systems (pumps, tanks, conveyors, motors, etc)
- Experience commissioning and decommissioning manufacturing equipment
- Manufacturing documentation experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication between operations and engineering
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Process Lead. The Process Lead will be responsible for leading the startup of the extruder line projects, documenting and recording the current state of equipment, and understanding the capabilities of new equipment. This role involves working closely with the Training Lead and Subject Matter Experts to ensure comprehensive training plans for all new equipment, developing timelines for commissioning and starting new equipment, and managing resources to ensure full team coverage according to the line schedule. The Processing Lead will also track material usage during project work, ensure communication documents are posted throughout the plant, review safety plans with the safety team, and document all project activities. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the projects startup of the extruder line. * Document and record the current state of equipment. And understand the capabilities of new equipment coming in. * Collaborate with the Training Lead and SME's to ensure all new equipment has a training plan. * Develop a timeline for commissioning and starting new equipment. * Manage resources to ensure full coverage of team members according to the line schedule. * Track material usage during project work for chargeback purposes. * Review safety plans with safety team members. * Track the integrated schedule for commissioning. * Document all activities on the line for the project and place them on SharePoint.
