Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for stocking and pulling parts as well as delivering materials and supplies. This role requires a diligent and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform material handling and warehousing functions, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Accurately utilize data collection systems and software systems for bin transfer confirmation and material pulling for production orders.
- Maintain administrative records and operate a computer to access and update information for receiving, counting, and order processing.
- Use mobile equipment as required and perform preventive maintenance.
- Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes.
- Conduct 5S Audits and Safety Stop Audits observations as required.
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement/Process Improvement Development (CI/PID) Process.
- Promote cross-training and support various areas of the shop.
- Follow the established Production System Standard Work Sheets.
- Promote a culture based on company values and safety policies, and serve as a positive role model in a team setting.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
- Experience with material handling, inventory management, and general labor tasks.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating a high reach forklift and using an RF scanner.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Proven record of good attendance and ability to work with a variety of employees effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and communicate needs effectively.

Work Environment
The role operates in a manufacturing environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4:15 pm. The position requires physical exertion, including repetitive motions, lifting up to 35 pounds, and using mobile equipment. Safety is a top priority, with necessary personal protective equipment provided for all tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, ND.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.97 - $27.82/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
