SCOPE OF THE ROLE
The Weekend 2nd Shift Production Supervisor provides leadership and operational oversight for weekend manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production objectives are achieved while leading hourly teams in a continuous operation environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Workforce Leadership
- Supervise and lead hourly production employees
- Plan staffing and allocate labor
- Monitor attendance and productivity Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA, GMP, and safety standards
- Ensure quality and operational standards are met Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams
- Complete production reports and shift handoffs
- Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Experience leading hourly production teams
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety systems
- Ability to work independently on weekend and overnight shifts
