ProspectBlue is partnering with a well-established organization in Richmond, Virginia, to identify a Senior Talent Project Manager. This position serves as a key strategic partner to the Chief Talent Officer (CTO), supporting the execution and advancement of the organization's talent strategy.
Working at the heart of the Talent function, the Senior Talent Project Manager helps maximize the effectiveness of the CTO by driving alignment, prioritization, and execution across talent initiatives and leadership teams. Rather than serving in a purely administrative capacity, this role is highly involved in strategic planning, project execution, and organizational coordination to ensure critical talent priorities are delivered efficiently and effectively.
As a trusted advisor and execution partner, you will help convert strategic objectives into actionable plans, facilitate collaboration among stakeholders, and ensure key initiatives maintain momentum. You will also work closely with the Talent leadership team to promote alignment, accountability, and operational excellence across the function.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Convert the CTO's priorities into actionable project plans, timelines, and measurable deliverables.
- Monitor progress on strategic Talent initiatives and ensure commitments are met.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential obstacles while proactively developing solutions or escalating issues when appropriate.
Executive Partnership & Support
- Represent and support the CTO in meetings, leadership discussions, and communications.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, briefing materials, and strategic communications.
- Manage and optimize the CTO's schedule to ensure focus on the most critical priorities.
- Anticipate upcoming needs and help position the CTO for maximum effectiveness.
Project & Program Management
- Lead and coordinate high-priority talent programs and initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to align objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Eliminate roadblocks, improve workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
Leadership Operations & Communications
- Manage the cadence of Talent leadership activities, including staff meetings, planning sessions, and offsite events.
- Create agendas, document key decisions, and track action items to completion.
- Facilitate consistent and effective communication throughout the Talent organization and across the broader firm.
Organizational Effectiveness & Process Improvement
- Assess organizational performance and identify opportunities to improve scalability and effectiveness.
- Maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking tools that support leadership decision-making.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and overall impact.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Act as a trusted resource for sensitive, confidential, and high-priority matters.
- Navigate complex situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, business operations, executive support, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives and C-suite leaders.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information for executive audiences.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced PowerPoint capabilities with experience creating executive-level presentations and strategic materials.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- High emotional intelligence, sound decision-making abilities, and strong interpersonal influence skills.
- Experience in professional services, financial services, consulting, or other high-performance environments is preferred.
