General Laborer
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will perform essential warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and other regulations. This position offers full-time employment with flexible shift options.
Responsibilities
- Execute critical warehouse operations related to shipping, receiving, storing, delivering, transferring, reconciling, and cycle counting materials per cGMP procedures and regulations.
- Use Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move warehouse materials.
- Operate trucks, flatbeds, or panels to transport hazardous materials or general goods following Department of Transportation regulations.
- Maintain a positive and ambitious work environment.
- Contribute to a safe workplace culture by ensuring safety and environmental requirements are met.
- Ensure that materials are received, stored, and distributed according to cGMP, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and other applicable regulations.
- Document and execute GMP tasks as needed.
- Report risks/events to ensure the safety, purity, quality, and effectiveness of products.
- Complete all required training prior to performing GMP activities.
- Participate in activities ensuring preparedness for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working within a warehouse and/or with material/inventory.
- Ability to follow pre-determined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory management systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) and international shipping requirements (IATA).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of Cold Chain distribution requirements.
- Ability to operate a forklift or other powered industrial vehicles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Work Environment
The role requires the ability to comfortably lift up to 30 lbs and operate a forklift or other powered industrial vehicles. The work involves standing, walking, climbing, crawling, crouching, and handling heavy objects with appropriate industrial equipment. Free parking is available onsite. You will work in shifts, either 2pm-11pm or 6am-5pm EST, with flexibility in days worked. Please note that a shift to a 12-hour schedule is expected in October.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
