Technical Sourcer
Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site at Headquarters)

Position Overview
Comrise is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Technical Sourcer to support a world-class talent acquisition team tasked with scaling the engineering pipeline for an industry leader in autonomous, on-demand ride-hailing technology.
In this role, you will serve as a critical asset and force multiplier for the recruiting team, driving specialized talent mapping and pipeline strategies for a diverse portfolio of systems engineering organizations. This position offers the independence and ownership to define candidate generation strategies for technical requisitions up to the Manager and Executive Leadership levels. The ideal candidate will possess an uncommon balance of cross-functional collaboration, performance dedication, and elite communication skills necessary to deliver results in a high-velocity, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Partner cross-functionally with recruiters and senior engineering leadership to thoroughly qualify complex requirements, establish target company lists, and map out highly competitive passive talent pools.
- Candidate Screening & Evaluation: Identify, engage, and screen technical talent to rigorously evaluate their technical aptitude, industry knowledge, and behavioral alignment with company priorities.
- Leadership & Executive Sourcing: Drive specialized sourcing strategies to target and engage high-level candidates for technical requisitions, including Manager and Executive leadership tiers.
- Brand Representation: Act as a professional ambassador for the corporate brand, managing a high-touch, seamless candidate experience that reflects the organization's mission and core values.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Professional Experience: 4+ years of dedicated, full-cycle technical sourcing experience within a high-growth corporate or specialized agency environment.
- Technical & Industry Acumen: Deep understanding of tech industry ecosystems, engineering disciplines, and relevant competitive market landscapes, with a proven ability to calibrate technical requisitions.
- Leadership Hiring Track Record: Demonstrated success in successfully identifying, assessing, and processing leadership-level technical hires.
- Consultative Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to confidently present data, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience sourcing specifically for specialized hardware, software, or advanced systems engineering positions.
- A hybrid background combining both staffing agency and in-house corporate technical sourcing experience.
- Direct experience collaborating hand-in-hand with senior engineering leadership to refine candidate profiles and execute strategic pipeline adjustments.
