Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help grow our sales pipeline in the Charleston area. This role reports to the Sales Manager and works closely with sales and marketing to generate opportunities and set appointments. You will cultivate strong relationships with customers from first contact through to closing the deal and ensure proper after-sales service. To be successful in this role, you should have experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas.
Responsibilities
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential customers through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential customers
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with customers
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives
Report to the Sales Manager on weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results
Stay up to date with new product releases/services and pricing/payments
Qualifications And Skills
Experience working at a B2B SaaS start-up or in the franchise industry is a plus
Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, AE, or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
