As a Custodian, you will be responsible for both custodial and floor technician duties at our Vandalia warehouse. Daily custodial duties will include cleaning and sanitizing several sets of restrooms, cleaning windows and mirrors, and collecting and emptying trash cans. Floor technician duties will include maintaining carpeted areas, tile floors, and using a riding floor scrubber to maintain concrete surfaces. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience with floor cleaning equipment including riding floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, burnishers and buffers preferred.
- Able to consistently bend, twist, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Must be able to pass TSA SIDA badging requirements.
- Strong communication, time management, and cleaning skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
