Job Title: Inventory Project Manager - ASAP START!
Location: on site, Merritt Island
Duration: 6+ month contract with potential for extension
Pay: $50-55/hr.

Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse automation projects from planning through execution, including conveyor systems, AS/RS, robotics, and material handling equipment.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with engineering, operations, facilities, and supply chain teams to define requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage vendors and contractors, including SOW development, procurement support, and performance oversight.
- Track milestones, dependencies, and project performance to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
- Facilitate design reviews, stakeholder meetings, and project status communications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
- Analyze warehouse workflows and recommend automation and process improvements.
- Document project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of project management experience in warehouse automation, facilities design, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or similar environments.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling systems, and automation technologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence others, and drive results without direct authority.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or warehouse design/simulation software.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation integrations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of supply chain experience; or a Master's degree with 3+ years of supply chain experience.
