Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience
Job Description:
Provide strategic leadership and day to day oversight of clinical operations within its medical practice.
The Director of Practice Management is a member of the clinical operations team overseeing clinicians (physicians and nurse practitioners), clinical support staff (nurses, medical assistants, physician assistants), patient care coordinators, and revenue cycle management team.
The Director of Practice Management works as a business partner to the members of the executive leadership team to ensure that the necessary processes and systems are implemented to meet the company's strategic operating plan.
The Director of Practice Management is responsible for implementing efficient and effective clinical workflows that include patient care coordination to support our concierge patients.
Responsibilities Include:
Works collaboratively to implement the clinical operations goals as assigned by the executive leadership team.
Develops and constantly analyzes the clinical operating frameworks for both the clinical services team, clinical support team, patient care coordinators, and revenue cycle management team.
Works with the executive leadership team to establish and implement short- and long-term goals, objectives and policies leveraging Six Sigma principles with measurable OKRs and KPIs.
Works with the executive leadership team to identify system and program inefficiencies.
Works with the executive leadership team to create and develop avenues of organizational communication.
Ensures the clinical operations are fully supported through constructive oversight and feedback on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis using electronic and in-person communication and digital collaboration tools.
Effectively establishes and maintain collaborative working relationships with the clinical provider staff (FTEs and contractors) to achieve increased provider satisfaction, retention and participation.
Ensures that the organization's financial systems, budgets, and management reporting processes are built and managed to support the clinical organization's growth and revenue expansion.
Integrates data analytics and measurement protocols/reporting for clinical quality and compliance standards to support the clinical organization's growth and expansion.
Mentors and supervises direct reports to insure they have the tools and resources needed to partner efficiently with each other and manage patient care.
Provides weekly, quarterly, and annual reporting metrics which focus on clinical efficiency, clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction (NPS scores), and clinical operations ROI to the overall business.
Requirements Include:
Master's degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration
Must have 5+ years of management level experience in clinical operations
Must have experience working within a growing medical practice that has patients in multiple states and countries.
Must have medical licensure and credentialing knowledge
Must have medical malpractice insurance knowledge
Must have revenue cycle management and medical billing knowledge with one or more of the following areas of patient reimbursement: concierge self-pay, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
Must have thorough operating knowledge of EMR (preferably EPIC) and payment clearinghouse platforms
Must have clinical operations knowledge affiliated with one or more the following; critical care rehabilitation, chronic care health management, longevity, functional health, and concierge medicine
Working knowledge of state and federal medical compliance laws and regulations
Working knowledge of financial management/accounting software platforms
Working experience in telehealth operations is highly desired
Working knowledge of patient management software platforms and mobile applications is highly desired
