This Role Is Different
This is not a support role, this is ownership. You will define the roadmap, lead initiatives, and build a culture where continuous improvement is embedded into how work gets done on the shop floor and beyond.
What You'll Lead
•Development and execution of a company-wide Continuous Improvement strategy
•Implementation of Lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen events, and 6S systems
•Optimization of material flow, plant layout, and production throughput
•Cross-functional improvements across operations, engineering, quality, and office workflows
•Training and coaching teams to build sustainable CI capability
What You Bring
•Proven experience building or leading a Continuous Improvement program
•Strong background in manufacturing (machining, fabrication, welding, assembly)
•Expertise in Lean tools, Kaizen facilitation, and process optimization
•Ability to work hands-on (gemba) while influencing leadership
•Track record delivering measurable results (lead time, productivity, waste reduction)
Valued Experience
•High-mix, low-volume or job shop manufacturing
•ERP/MRP systems (Epicor or similar)
•Engineering or technical degree
•Data-driven analysis (time studies, flow, capacity)
