ServiceNow Developer
Job Family: SAAS/PAAS/Cloud Application Development
Travel Required: Up to 10%
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret (TS)
What You Will Do:
- Help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
- Lead the development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other ServiceNow developers.
- Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
- Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
- Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform unit, system, and integration testing.
- Debug and fix technical problems.
- Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.
- Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
- Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
What You Will Need:
- Must possess and maintain a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Tampa, FL area
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
- Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
- Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) are preferred
- Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
- General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.
- Candidates with an ACTIVE "TOP SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
