Job Description - 6 month contract to hire - 3 day flex hybrid schedule in downtown Austin, TX
Insight Global is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager for a rapidly growing fintech client in Austin, TX. This role leads complex, cross-functional technology programs that support the company's strategic goals. The TPM ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at high quality while driving alignment, innovation, and collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Program Leadership: Oversee large-scale technology initiatives from concept to delivery. Define program strategy, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders. Mentor project managers and ensure clear communication across all levels.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks, adapt plans as needed, and maintain contingency strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Establish success metrics, monitor progress, and report outcomes to guide future program decisions.
- Technical Guidance: Ensure technical solutions align with architecture standards and integrate effectively within existing systems.
- Budget Oversight: Manage budgets and ensure responsible resource allocation.
- Change Management: Lead adoption efforts, including training and support, to ensure smooth implementation of new technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in project or program management within a REGULATED environment (fintech, SaaS, software, finance), with proven experience managing staff and leading large-scale projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with the latest technologies used in software development, cloud services, and system integration.
- Deep experience in change management and business process improvement.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the current technological trends, potential challenges, and strategic solutions relevant to the tech industry
- Has built out / delivered a "client facing" experience (application implementation, feature implementation)
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certification in Project Management (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- FEDRAMP / regulatory / audit experience (as it pertains to working within a regulated industry)
- Platform/fintech experience
Compensation:
$70/hr to $90/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of
