Wages: $32.00 Per Hour $150.00 Per Diem offered, if eligible
Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience
Experience in machinery installation
Ability to proficiently set up and use the following tools:
- Torque wrench
- Hydraulic jacks
- High pressure Hydraulic pumps
- High pressure Hydraulic wrenches
- Pneumatic Pumps
- Drill Press
- Angle indicator
- Dial indicator
- Small & larger inside diameter micrometer (manual)
- Small and larger outside diameter micrometer (manual)
- Laser Level
- Magnetic Bas Drill
- Snap gauges
Ability to read and interpret Machinery installation drawings
Ability to proficiently use the following tools:
- Small & larger inside diameter micrometer (manual)
- Small and larger outside diameter micrometer (manual)
- Laser Level
- Magnetic Bas Drill
- Snap gauges
Ability to install and align pumps
Ability to install/align equipment using piano wire
Ability to properly install the following type of shipboard equipment:
- Steering Gear
- Rudder
- Winches
- Cranes
- Accommodation Ladder
- Thrusters (Bow/Stern)
- Lifeboat Davits
- Engines & Propulsion Systems
- Ability to set up and properly use liquid nitrogen for metal-to-metal interference fit.
