Edged has an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of an innovative company that’s on a journey to transform the world’s data center infrastructure.
We are seeking a
Electrical Engineer
to support the design, integration, and deployment of electrical systems for distributed power generation and energy projects currently in development. This role emphasizes system‑level electrical design, vendor integration, and hands‑on engineering in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple electrical architectures and technology stacks, interfacing with internal teams and external partners, and owning designs from concept through integration. As projects mature, there is the opportunity to transition to additional technology stacks in development within the company’s broader portfolio.
Edged is highly selective about the people we bring on board because our mission depends on it. Progress happens quickly and we must be able to trust one another to be transparent, communicative, strategic, reliable, and driven. We seek ultra‑creatives and superstar performers with a sense of humility and a hunger to make a positive impact in the world. We offer flexibility and endless growth opportunities to those who can harness their skills and talents and identify how and where to use them to add value.

Develop and integrate electrical systems for distributed power generation projects
Support system‑level integration of electrical and electro‑mechanical subsystems across multiple vendors
Develop electrical architectures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface definitions
Specify and integrate various power electronics subsystems including VFDs, DC‑DC converters, and AC inverters
Investigate, design, and support integration of battery systems, power distribution equipment, switchgear, circuit protection, and control hardware
Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to ensure proper electrical‑mechanical integration with an eye towards mass production
Interface with external partner companies, vendors, and suppliers to align designs, requirements, and deliverables
Support prototype builds, testing, commissioning, and iterative design improvements
Produce and maintain clear electrical documentation and design packages
