Knoxville, TN | IT Engineer | Full-time (On-site)
We're actively recruiting an IT Engineer for our client in Knoxville, TN. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a multi-client/MSP-style environment. The right person is a true IT generalist with strong networking fundamentals (Cisco Meraki preferred) and solid Windows/Microsoft infrastructure experience, comfortable owning escalations and jumping between priorities.
What You'll Do
- Provide escalated IT support across multiple client environments
- Troubleshoot network issues (LAN/WAN, security, connectivity
- Handle systems administration work (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows servers
- Participate in project work (migrations, onboarding, implementations)
- Work independently onsite with clients while partnering with other engineers
- Document work and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in IT support / systems / network support (IT Engineer / Project Engineer background fits well)
- Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment strongly preferred
- Strong networking fundamentals (Meraki a plus)
- Well-rounded infrastructure experience across Windows/Microsoft tools
- Proven ability to context switch and manage multiple priorities
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
