Akkodis is recruiting for a Technical Project Manager for an aerospace client in the Niskayuna, NY area. This is an Hybrid contract position with a pay rate of $70 an hour to $105 an hour depending on experience, education and location. Looking for a candidate with strong mechanical / electrical engineer who's primary responsibility be project/program management for at least 2 to 5 projects.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with 5 years experience in project management of a highly technical discipline
- Experience in the electrical systems domain in the Aerospace, Military, and/or Automotive markets and customers
- Provide project execution status summary reports and presentation to individual contributors, peers.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain a clearance-
- Controls technical experience
- Electric generator or motor design
- Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test experience- good at DSPACE, speedgoat from mathworks would be good, PLC's
- CAD- Catia would be nice. Expeierence doing simulations with flex or simulik.
- Experience in Simulink and Mathworks tool suite
