Job Title: Electromechanical Engineer
Compensation: $130,000 - $180,000 Base Salary + Bonus (Up to 10%)
Location: Anaheim, California - Onsite
Hours: Monday to Friday - flexible hours

The Client:
Lumicity has partnered with an exciting and expanding company operating within the clean energy and power generation space on their search for an Electromechanical Engineer to join their team. Our client is focused on the development of advanced industrial energy solutions to produce energy. The ideal candidate will also hold knowledge of will be given to those with a background in rotating electric machinery, mechatronics, electromagnetic actuator or non-contact position sensor design.

The Responsibilities:
- Lead design process for electromagnetic and electromechanical systems from conception through to validation
- Carry out electromagnetic and electromechanical analysis using FEMM and/or ANSYS Maxwell
- Develop new and modify existing speed sensor and non-contact position solutions
- Design and troubleshoot electromagnetics systems and speed sensors on active magnetic bearings
- Lead training to cross-functional colleagues on these systems
The Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Hold working knowledge and experience of MATLAB and ANSYS
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic systems, AMB's and electromechanical systems
- Background carrying out FEA and analysis of electromagnetic systems (magnetic actuators, bearings, AMB's etc)
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
